Ahhhhh, the Eastern Shore! Great for weekend trips, tourism, exploring waterways...and living! You have spent enough time sitting in bridge traffic making part-time visits to the Eastern Shore, but I want you to come see what living here is all about. Here I am, your new home, waiting to meet you and start making new memories. The best part? Location and convenience, of course. Ocean City, Rehoboth, Cape May/Lewes Ferry are all within an easy drive. Situated in the Greenwood Community of Queen Anne's County, I have three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, attached garage, and almost 1600 square feet of living space sitting on approximately one quarter acre. The owner's suite overlooks the beautiful wooded area behind me; open a window to hear Mother Nature's sounds morning and night. The en suite gives you the option to grab a quick shower or soak away in the jetted tub with tile surround (feel free to light some candles). Enjoy your evenings snuggled up by the living room fireplace, or hanging out on the freshly painted rear deck with friends and family. The kitchen is the heart of the home, and mine is no exception. Watch the kiddos in the playground, play ball in the open field areas, or simply watch a pickup game of basketball from the comfort of my covered front porch. Outside of the neighborhood, there are plenty of recreational options, such as the nearby beaches, or CBEC (Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center), where an affordable annual membership gives you 500 acres to explore and connect with nature and conservation efforts, while also giving access to kayaking, birding, summer camps, etc. If you're looking for shopping, the Queenstown Outlets are nearby with many big-name store brands (Bath and Body Works, Nike, Banana Republic, Chico's, Eddie Bauer, etc), or you can choose antique or vintage options at stores such as Hope Warehouse, The Cool Cat Store, and The Gifted Crab. When it's time for a night out, enjoy an upscale dinner at Knoxies, with produce fresh from the chef's garden and locally sourced seafood; the fantastic views from Bridges Restaurant overlooking Kent Narrows; live music with more great views at The Jetty Restaurant and Dock Bar; an indoor train track circling the ceiling at Fisherman's Inn, and so many other great local options.
